The Flood - 1993.

This film was based on a trues story of a flash flood. One scene was of a dead cow floating down the river. This was a quick build as it was in water, covered in stuff and seen from a distance.

Another prop was casting one of the actors legs to put a fake leg cast on him covered in his friends writings and drawings.
